The library at Shri Davara University serves as the institution’s main information resource centre and is a storehouse of printed and digital resources for faculty, staff, and students to use in their daily work. In addition to text books, the library has a growing collection of encyclopaedias, dictionaries, journals, magazines, and other reference literature. The library also provides access to a variety of e-books and e-journals, J-gate, IEEE, and British Council library e-consortiums.For enhancing communication abilities, there are more than 50 audio-visual inspiration e-books available. The library’s main goal is to aid in the academic development of our students. The library’s extensive collection in the areas of management studies, science, and technologies comprises books, journals, magazines, project reports, question banks, newspaper backfiles, and other materials. The library offers a distinct section for reference books like dictionaries, encyclopaedias, and bibliographies as well as CD-ROMs, magazines, journals, and audio-visual cassettes.
For students and scholars, the library serves as a “gateway” to a variety of print and digital resources. The library is renowned for its collection of antiquated and out-of-print books on a variety of topics. For students to use in test preparation, the library has also made past question banks available. To aid them in their studies, the students have access to books for the full semester. The registry contains information on the loans and returns of study materials.
The knowledge that staff and students gain from the books in the library is put to use in a variety of ways, such as continuing their own scholarly investigations, giving presentations at conferences, publishing their work in journals, etc.
