On the third day of the Induction Program “DU: Discover You” at Shri Davara University, Naya Raipur, the proceedings commenced with a warm welcome address by Honorary Director Mr. Tulsidas Sanghani, who also elucidated the significance of Shloka recitation and its profound impact on personal growth.
Renowned historian, educationist, and former Vice-Chancellor of ICFAI University, Bhilai and SSP University, Bhilai Prof. (Dr.) L.S. Nigam, delivered a captivating lecture to the students and staff, delineating the rich tapestry of ancient history and its symbiotic relationship with contemporary knowledge. He emphasized the indispensable role of indigenous cultures and their monumental legacies, asserting that our existence is inextricably linked to theirs. His erudite discourse traversed a diverse array of subjects, illuminating their relevance within the framework of NEP-2020.
Ms. Jeniffer Das, a distinguished educationist-turned-entrepreneur, engaged in an interactive session with the students, expounding upon the transformative power of unconventional thinking. She counseled them to adopt a systematic approach in setting and pursuing their goals, ensuring clarity and focus in their pursuit of excellence.
The program also featured captivating cultural performances, which added a vibrant dimension to the day’s events. The entire extravaganza was meticulously orchestrated by Dr. Manish Vermma, with a vote of thanks proposed by Registrar Mr. Kumar Shwetabh. The gathering was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Director General Dr. Charmi Davara, Director Anjli Yadav, CoE Dr. Varun Ganjir, Head-Vocational Training Department Mr. Vipin Shrivastava and the entire staff, alongside the students.
